And is a connecting word. And tells us more is on the way.

It is a significant word in the acronym because it is important for connecting two very essential ideas of BEAUTY: earnestly and ultimately. Although informing the future, earnestly suggests resolve and fervency in a present moment or season. Whereas, ultimately suggests layers of time, both in seasons and in length, with an overarching end goal. It is this combination that we see through the stories in the Bible. The lives of those who made a profound impact in history included many significant moments or seasons- some very small and others very long - that were critical to God’s purposeful end goal. Consider this in the lives of Joshua, David, Joseph, Esther, and Ruth.

A life of BEAUTY will consist of many big and small, short term and long term, days and seasons of beginnings and ends. A life of BEAUTY will be an adventurous life of successes and failures, present realities and future dreams.

In the months to come we will see this pattern unveiled in the writings of our contributors.
