Let the Little Children Come

Jesus encountered His disciples trying to keep little children away from Him. The disciples assumed that the importance of the moment was of greater priority than the children. Jesus shows us, however, that the desire of the loving heart of the Father was to embrace the little children. This outpouring of affection of the children to Jesus and He to them was just as important to the Kingdom of God as revelational teaching or displaying His miracle power. Just as impactful that the world would know that God loves even the little children as a Father.
“But Jesus said,
‘Let the little children come to me.
Don’t stop them!
For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.’” Matthew 19:14 (NLT)
“But Jesus said,
‘You must have concern for the little children,
and you must not forbid them to come to Me,
because of such is the Kingdom Rule of the Heavenlies.’” Matthew 19:14 (Pure Word Translation)
