An Interview with Terri

  1. When did you first become interested in being a Caregiver?

My love for caring announced itself first in the the sweet bundles of joy I wrapped in love as a mother. And then, came fully, in years spent caring for an ill spouse.

  2. How long have you been involved in Caregiving?

I started Care Giving in 1993 when I took care of my mother-in-law in my home.

  3. What is your favorite part of being a Caregiver?

The social affection has been profoundly attractive to me. Each person’s unique personality, their way of approaching the world, and their stories of the past have provided for me a source of great enjoyment and wisdom. How else could I have known that “Butterflies” were originally called “Flutterbys”?!

  4. Who is your inspirational BEAUTY?

My inspirational BEAUTY(s) are my Sister and Brother-in-Law. They are the kindest people I know.

  5. Where do you see yourself in the next 5-10 years?

I hope to be married again, enjoying life, my children, and my grandchildren in my best years ahead.
